Dear Families,
It is hard to believe that in a few short weeks the 2009-2010 school year will be over. I feel so blessed to have been a part of this wonderful school. It has been such a personal and professional treat to see your children, and mine, grow and learn.
Thank you so much to all of the families who joined us at Fuddruckers for our Dining Out Night. We had a great turn out! It was really fun to all be together and share a meal. The PAC raised some great funds and we will be doing these more often next year.
June gives us time to reflect on our year of learning. The classrooms will be busy reviewing and preparing for a fun and busy summer.
June 4th will be our annual Field Day for all classes beginning at 9:30am. Please check with your teachers as each class will be wearing a common color that day. Also, many of our activities involve water, so please pack an extra change of clothes.
June 14th is our day to thank our Dads for being our Dads! Please stop in on June 14th for a donut with your child at drop off.
June 16th is our end of the year Musical Celebration and PreK and K graduation ceremonies. Please join us at 10:00am on the lawn behind the pre-school building for the all-school musical performance. Our graduation will take place at 11:00am. Parking is always a challenge on these days - so please come early and with extra patience!
For the safety of all the children on campus, please do not use the circle between the hours of 8:45am and 4:00pm. When using the circle for before or after-care, please drive slowly and use caution. Also, when walking, please use the sidewalks at all times to prevent accidents. We appreciate your compliance with this important safety request.
Camp Zone 2010 is right around the corner and we have added some exciting features. We will offer Yoga, Karate and Young Rembrandts Drawing Classes. We have also opened up morning swim lessons so you can now sign up for unlimited swim lessons! Please let us know if you would like to add a new class or more swim lessons. Remember that Camp officially kicks off on June 23rd and I can't wait!!
